By its position and importance for the grape growing and grape production strip and basin of Skadar Lake point out. The largest and the most beautiful vineyard in Europe, Ćemovsko field, spreads on the surface of 2310 ha, with 11 million grapevines.

Montenegrin viticultural area, generally speaking, makes the southernmost part of the Adriatic coast, so we may say for the wines, made of the red grape variety Vranac by traditional vinification, that they are specific southern wines. These wines are specific for greater alcohol contents, full body, plenty of colloidal substances and their wine aromas.

Altitude of vineyards is officially 44,5 m. It lowers towards Skadar Lake to 40m and rises up to

the harvest, Plantaže co-ordinate successfully the harvest, having as a sole priority- provision of the good quality raw material for its premium wines.
