It started with 200 ha surface of vineyards,wine cellar with 10 400 hl,with three products and modest technological equipment.

Growing within a powerful system of Agroplant „13.jul“, „Plantaže“has passed through all organizational forms, commencing from the working unit to a shareholder’ company „13.jul“. „ The societies „Agrougostitelj“, „Agrokom“, „Agroekonomski institut“, „Uvoz-izvoz“ and „Ribnjaci“ were merged to „Plantaže“in 1998.

It was a transformation period from which ‘Plantaže’ emerged as the holder of the continuation of the mission which was marked four decades ago by the establishment of the Agricultural plant.

Forty six years later, AD „Plantaže“, thanks to the project „Ćemovsko field“ owns and manages the vineyard covering 2310 ha, the largest in Europe,with three wine cellars the capacity of which is 310 000 hl, peach plantation covering 85 ha, 40 ha nursery of rootstocks,fish pond producing 100tons of Californian trout annually,the cold storage plant,the capacity of which is

with retail and catering facilities.

With annual production of 22 million kilos,AD „Plantaže“ is nowadays the biggest producer of wine and table grapes in Serbia and Montenegro.

The thing of which „Plantaže“ is particularly proud of is the fact that in the most difficult times of war and sanctions,isolation and interruption of goods- financial flows with the surrounding countries ,„Plantaže“ managed not only to keep its production capacities ,but also to increase its production capacities, from year to year,and conquer the new tecnologies and new

markets.
