The Company 13 Jul-Plantaže and the executive director Verica Maraš won the prestigious recognition ’Oscar of Quality 2019’

The company 13 Jul-Plantaže a.d. and the executive director Verica Maraš won the recognition ’Oscar of Quality 2019’  and ’ Leader of Business Excellence  2019’ that have been awarded to them on Wednesday, on the 20th of November 2019 in the Commercial Chamber of Serbia (PKS) in Belgrade, on the occasion of celbration of the International Day of Quality and European Week of Quality.

The company 13 Jul-Plantaže won the recognition ’Oscar of Quality 2019’ , for the organizations outside the territory of the Republic of Serbia, awarded by the Foundation for Culture of Quality and Excellence (FQCE),in the highest category of business excellence –Champion of Excellence 2019and the executive director, Verica Maraš received the special award for excellent results in the improvement of the strategy and business policy – in the nominationLeader of Business Excellence 2019.

The award ’Oscar of Quality’ has been awarded by the jury, consisting of the representatives of state, scientific and professional institutions, based on the evaluation of the ’Evalaution team’, selected from the list of the registered evaluators for the business excellence by FQCE model of excellence. The awards are given to the organisations that have achieved excellent results in the development and improvement of the organizational and business excellence.

Within the period of 24 years of giving these awards to the organisations in the Republic of Serbia and neighbouring countries, the award Oscar of Quality – Champion of Excellence was given 8 times only and in 2019, two companies have been nominated for it, including the company 13 Jul-Plantaže a.d. which is the great success of the quality management system.

The award ’Oscar of Quality’ was established in 1994. It has been given since 1995. as the award for quality and since 2000. as the award for business excellence.  It was created by the model of the  European Foundation for Quality Management(EFQM).
